Organización social y migración en el Desarrollo Rural, Ixpantepec Nieves, Mixteca Baja Oaxaqueña, México

Abstract

La investigación analiza la organización social y los cambios introducidos por el fenómeno migratorio en la estructura comunitaria, tomando el caso de estudio de un pequeño municipio: Ixpantepec Nieves, localizado en la Mixteca Baja, Oaxaca. El estudio se realizó con una metodología mixta para analizar el fenómeno antes descrito, por lo menos desde dos perspectivas. La tesis se divide en seis capítulos. El primer capítulo plantea la estructura general de la investigación. En el segundo, se aborda la discusión teórica de las principales corrientes del desarrollo, distintas visiones acerca del fenómeno migratorio y las formas de organización social a través de la familia y los Usos y Costumbre, basado en el sistema de cargos comunitarios que rige en el estado de Oaxaca. La metodología se dedica a las herramientas cualitativas y cuantitativas utilizadas para la recopilación de datos. Después, se hace una reseña histórica de la comunidad objeto de estudio. Más tarde se abordan los resultados obtenidos de la aplicación de una muestra para el municipio de interés. El capítulo sexto centra la discusión y análisis del por qué es necesario retomar la organización social e integrarla en estrategias que impulsen el desarrollo rural. Finalmente, están las conclusiones, recomendaciones y aportaciones de la investigación. _______________ SOCIAL ORGANIZATION AND MIGRATION IN THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT, IXPANTEPEC NIEVES, MIXTECA BAJA OAXAQUEÑA, MEXICO. ABASTRACT: The research analyzed the social organization and the changes introduced by the phenomenon of migration in the community structure, taking the case study of a small municipality: Ixpantepec Nieves located in the Mixteca Baja, Oaxaca. The study was conducted with a mixed methodology to analyze the phenomenon described above at least from two perspectives. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter presents the general structure of the investigation. The second discusses theoretically the mains ideas of development, different views on the migration phenomenon, the forms of social organization through the family and the Usos y Costumbres based on the community charges system, prevailing in the state of Oaxaca. The methodology focuses on qualitative and quantitative tools used for data collection. After you make a historical review of the community object study later addressed the results of the application of a statistics sample to the municipality of interest. The sixth chapter focuses the discussion and analysis on why it is necessary to regain the social organization and integrated into strategies that promote rural development. Finally there are conclusions, recommendations and research contributions.
