dc.description.abstract | Los estudios turísticos cada vez son más completos debido a la importancia de este sector como fenómeno global, donde las ciencias antropológicas y sus herramientas de investigación etnográfica han sido útiles para conocer de forma integral los fenómenos socio-culturales que se desean estudiar. Coscomatepec de Bravo es un Municipio del Estado de Veracruz, México, localizado en la región de las montañas, área geográfica privilegiada por su importante riqueza hídrica y ecosistema de bosque de niebla; fue nombrado en el año 2021 como municipio con vocación turística y designado Pueblo Mágico en el 2015 por sus atributos culturales y naturales; el mercado tradicional o “tianguis de trueque” es una clara manifestación mesoamericana propia de la vida rural. Se estudió la diversidad biocultural en torno al tianguis para generar propuestas que puedan integrarse en la planeación turística. Como producto final se diseñó un inventario etnobotánico de 114 especies vegetales útiles como: cereales, leguminosas, tubérculos, verduras, frutos, especies nutraceúticas, quelites, flores comestibles y especies ornamentales. Se propone integrar estos recursos naturales con potencial al mercado del turismo alimentario, turismo rural, turismo gastronómico, turismo cultural, o cualquier sector turístico basado en el patrimonio biocultural, que favorezca a incentivar la economía local de los pobladores rurales de éste tianguis de trueque. _______________ ETHNOGRAPHY IN TOURISM STUDIES, THE CASE OF THE TRADITIONAL TIANGUIS OF COSCOMATEPEC DE BRAVO, VERACRUZ, MEXICO. ABSTRACT: Tourism studies are becoming more complete due to the importance of this sector as a global phenomenon, where anthropological sciences and their ethnographic research tools have been useful to fully understand the socio-cultural phenomena that are to be studied. Coscomatepec de Bravo is a Municipality of the State of Veracruz Mexico, located in the mountain region, a privileged geographical area for its cloud forest ecosystem and water importance, this place was named in 2021 as a municipality with a tourist vocation and designated As a Magical Town since 2015, due to its cultural and natural attributes, one of these cultural features is its traditional market or "barter market", a clear Mesoamerican manifestation, where a socio-cultural economic process typical of rural life unfolds. Coscomatepec could integrate to the tourist offer proposals based on its biocultural heritage such as the “tianguis de barter” and its wide offer of useful plant species. As an objective of this research, biocultural diversity was known within the social context of its flea market, for tourism planning.
