El estudio de caso de la organización económica, política y social; resultante del uso, control y aprovechamiento de los manantiales de El Tephé.

Abstract

La presente investigación se centra en la comunidad de El Tephé, perteneciente al municipio de Ixmiquilpan en el estado de Hidalgo, México; su objetivo es analizar la organización social resultante de usar, controlar y aprovechar el agua emanada de sus manantiales, dividiéndose metodológicamente la investigación en tres momentos históricos pertinentes para el estudio. El primer momento marcado por la aparición del manantial en 1928, donde la comunidad mediante su conocimiento local, se organizaron de manera tradicional, resaltando valores como solidaridad y reciprocidad entre los usuarios del recurso hídrico; la segunda, marcada por el conflicto por establecer derechos sobre el recurso hídrico; y el tercer momento de consolidación organizacional de los beneficiados del agua de los manantiales, logrando uno de los proyectos autogestivos y autosuficientes más importantes del estado de Hidalgo: El Parque Acuático El Tephé. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan que, el desarrollo organizacional de una comunidad que comparte tradiciones indígena-campesinas apoyados de los valores tradicionales, les permite crear una estructura vigente capaz de satisfacer necesidades, económicas y sociales de los beneficiarios, y al mismo tiempo hacer funcionar un parque acuático. _______________ THE CASE STUDY OF THE ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATION; RESULT OF THE USE, CONTROL AND EXPLOITATION OF THE EL TEPHÉ SPRINGS. ABSTRACT: The article focuses on the community of El Tephé, belonging to the municipality of Ixmiquilpan in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico; Its objective is to analyze the social organization resulting from using, controlling and taking advantage of the water emanating from its springs, methodologically dividing the research into three historical moments relevant to the study. The first moment marked by the appearance of the spring in 1928, where the community through its local knowledge, organized in a traditional way, highlighting values such as solidarity and reciprocity among users of the water resource; the second, marked by the conflict over establishing rights over the water resource; and the third moment of organizational consolidation of the beneficiaries of the water from the springs, achieving one of the most important self-managed and self-sufficient projects in the state of Hidalgo, El Tephé Water Park. The results obtained reflect that, the organizational development of a community that shares indigenous-peasant traditions supported by traditional values, allows them to create a current structure capable of satisfying beneficiaries, economic and social needs, and at the same time to operate a park water.
