Análisis de estructura y funcionamiento de un Faro Agroecológico y propuesta de intervención para el Centro Educativo Agroecológico Los Álamos.

Abstract

Reconocidos agroecólogos resaltan que la apuesta por el desarrollo de los faros agroecológicos es una potente herramienta para la aplicación, demostración y el escalamiento de la agroecología; ya que son concebidos como centros donde se comparten conocimientos, técnicas y procesos para guiar a los productores locales hacia sistemas agrarios más sostenibles. Enmarcada por la esperanza que supone la implementación de los faros agroecológicos en un contexto de crisis global y desequilibrio ecológico, la presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar si el Centro Educativo Agroecológico Los Álamos (CEA) cumple con los elementos de estructura y función para ser identificado como un faro agroecológico. A nivel metodológico se construye un estudio de caso del CEA como una estrategia para sistematizar y comprender tanto el contexto como las características estructurales y funcionales que actualmente lo configuran. En una segunda etapa se realiza un análisis comparativo de las características estructurales y funcionales de los faros agroecológicos con los datos generados en el estudio de caso. En la tercera etapa se discuten los factores que le posibilitan o le impiden al CEA desarrollarse como un faro agroecológico, llegando a la conclusión que sí cuenta con los elementos suficientes para catalogarlo como un faro agroecológico sectorial que está aportando una luz metodológica y estratégica para responder al desafío de la transmisión intergeneracional de los conocimientos, saberes y proyectos agroecológicos en el ámbito juvenil indígena campesino. Finalmente se realizan las recomendaciones pertinentes mediante una propuesta de intervención. Por lo tanto, el conjunto de la investigación se realiza con un enfoque mixto, utilizando varias técnicas como la entrevista semiestructurada, el análisis del discurso, las visitas al CEA, la observación participante y el análisis de investigaciones relacionadas con los faros agroecológicos. _______________ STRUCTURE AND OPERATION ANALYSIS OF AN AGROECOLOGICAL HOUSELIGHT AND INTERVENTION PROPOSAL FOR THE LOS ÁLAMOS AGROECOLOGICAL EDUCATIONAL CENTER. ABSTRACT: Renowned agroecologists highlight that the commitment to the development of Agroecological Lighthouses is a powerful tool for the application, demonstration and escalation of agroecology; since they are conceived as centers where knowledge, techniques and processes are shared to guide local producers towards more sustainable agricultural systems. Framed by the hope of the implementation of the Agroecological Lighthouses in a context of global crisis and ecological imbalance. The purpose of this research is to determine if the Los Álamos Agroecological Educational Center (CEA) meets the elements of structure and function to be identified as an agroecological lighthouse. At the methodological level, a case study of the CEA is constructed as a strategy to systematize and understand both the context and the structural and functional characteristics that currently configure it. In a second stage a comparative analysis of the structural and functional characteristics of the agroecological lighthouses is carried out with the data generated in the case study. In the third stage, the factors that enable or prevent the CEA from developing as an Agroecological Lighthouse are discussed, concluding that it does have enough elements to catalog it as a sectorial agroecological beacon that is providing a methodological and strategic light to respond to the challenge of the intergenerational transmission of knowledge, wisdom and agroecological projects in the indigenous peasant youth field. Finally, the pertinent recommendations are made through an intervention proposal. Therefore, the whole research is carried out with a mixed approach, using various techniques such as semi-structured interviews, discourse analysis, visits to CEA, participant observation and analysis of research related to Agroecological Lighthouses.
