Gestión comunitaria de los recursos forestales en la agencia de policía pensamiento liberal mexicano, municipio de San Miguel Peras, Zaachila, Oaxaca.

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar el proceso de cómo los/as habitantes de la comunidad de Pensamiento Liberal Mexicano, Zaachila, Oaxaca, realizan el aprovechamiento comunitario del recurso forestal en su territorio y cuáles han sido los resultados en el logro de sus objetivos comunes. El estudio fue de tipo no experimental donde se empleó un enfoque mixto y el método de descriptivo-analítico. Para la obtención de información de campo se utilizaron técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas, como parte de las técnicas cuantitativas se empleó la encuesta por muestreo donde se utilizó el método del muestreo simple al azar. Se entrevistaron a 56 comuneros/as y a 44 jóvenes entre 13 y 17 años de edad. Por medio del uso de técnicas cualitativas del método etnográfico se complementó la información obtenida de la encuesta. La observación directa del desarrollo de las asambleas comunitarias y las entrevistas realizadas a los principales actores sociales identificados como informantes clave, permitieron conocer la dinámica social y el papel que juegan las instituciones en la organización y regulación de la ciudadanía para el acceso a los recursos del bosque. Entre los hallazgos que se encontraron con la investigación resalta que cuando la toma de decisiones sobre el uso de los recursos forestales está en manos de la comunidad, ésta es más eficaz y eficiente para establecer normas que mejor regulan el acceso a los recursos forestales de uso común en condiciones de igualdad, permitiendo con ello un mayor cuidado de los recursos naturales. _______________ COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT OF FOREST RESOURCES IN THE POLICE AGENCY PENSAMIENTO LIBERAL MEXICANO, MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MIGUEL PERAS, ZAACHILA, OAXACA. ABSTRACT: The objective of the present research was to analyze the process of how the inhabitants of the community of Pensamiento Liberal Mexicano, Zaachila, Oaxaca, take advantage of the community use of the forest resource in their territory and what have been the results in the achievement of their common objectives. The study was of non-experimental type where a mixed approach and the descriptive-analytical method were used. In order to obtain field information, quantitative and qualitative techniques were used. As part of the quantitative techniques, the sampling survey was used with a simple random sampling method. 56 community members and 44 young people between 13 and 17 years old were interviewed. Through the use of qualitative techniques of the ethnographic method, the information obtained from the survey was complemented. Observation of the community assemblies and interviews with the main social actors identified as key informants, allowed to know the social dynamics and the role that the institutions play in the organization and regulation of the citizenship for the access to the forest resources. Among the findings in the research is that when decision making on the use of forest resources is in the hands of the community, it is more efficient and efficient to establish standards that better regulate access to common forest resources in conditions of equality, thus allowing greater care of natural resources.
