Efecto del aclareo del fruto en el nopal

Abstract

Se hicieron dos experimentos de aclareo de frutos en nopal para observar el efecto que produce en el peso del fruto y el contenido de azúcar. Los criterios de aclareo fueron: en el experimento I, dejar 2, 4, 6, 8 y 10 frutos por penca, así como pencas testigo. En el experimento II, el aclareo fue eliminar 50%, 25% y 0% de frutos. En los dos experimentos los resultados mostraron que no hubo efecto alguno en los frutos respecto a peso y a contenido de azúcar. Un factor muy importante en el aclareo es la época; en esta ocasión no fue posible probar distintas épocas por lo que en el futuro deben probarse. ABSTRACT: In order to know the effects of pricklypear fruit thinning on the weight and sugar content of the fruits, two experiments were carried out. In the experiment I, 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 fruits were left on each pulpy leaf, as well as a control pulpy leaves without any fruit thinning. In the experiment II, it was thined 50%, 25% and 0% of the fruits of each pulpy leaf. In both experiments, there was no significat difference between treatments neither in the sugar content nor in the weight of the fruit. Time of thinning was not considered, but this factor should be proved in the future.
