El sistema de producción de Agave tequilana Weber variedad azul y el desarrollo local en Tequila, Jalisco

Abstract

El cultivo del Agave tequilana F.A.C. Weber variedad azul es la principal fuente de empleo en el municipio de Tequila, tanto en las plantaciones como en la industria tequilera. El objetivo de la investigación es conocer e identificar la tecnología de producción del agave y conocer los recursos turísticos de la taberna y el paisaje agavero de dos grupos de productores los agaveros y taberneros, en el municipio de Tequila, Jalisco. Se tomó una muestra en cada uno de estos productores, en el primer caso se realizó un muestreo estadístico y en el segundo grupo se utilizó el método de muestreo "bola de nieve". Los resultados muestran una mayor capitalización en la unidad de producción de los taberneros, así como menor presencia de plagas enfermedades y malezas en el cultivo y con prácticas agrícolas más mecanizadas y monocultivo y los agaveros intercalan sus plantaciones de agave con otros cultivos de (maíz y frijol). Los agaveros realizan más prácticas agrícolas debido a que lo intercalan. Existe un alto interés en participar en actividades agroturísticas por los taberneros y mencionan que la jima es la principal actividad turística. En las tabernas, existe una alta perspectiva en la prestación de servicios turísticos, pero sus espacios no reúnen las condiciones para su inserción en la prestación de servicios turísticos. No existe apoyo crediticio y se tiene una escasa experiencia y capacitación, que limita la ampliación y restauración de la taberna, dando como resultado, una baja inserción a esta actividad. _______________ PRODUCTION SYSTEM Agave tequilana Weber blue variety AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT IN TEQUILA, JALISCO. ABSTRACT : Growing of Agave tequilana FAC Weber var. azul is the main source of use in the municipality of Tequila, as much in the plantations as in the tequilera industry. The objective of the investigation is to know and to identify the technology of production of the agave and to know the resources the tavern and the agavero landscape tourist two groups producers the agave producers and tequila producers, in the municipality of Tequila, Jalisco. A sample was taken in each from these producers, in the first case a statistical sampling was realized and in the second group the sampling method was used “snowball". The results show a greater capitalization in the unit of production of the tequila producers, as well as smaller presence of plagues diseases and weeds in the culture and with mechanized agricultural practices more. A high interest in participating in agroturísticas activities by the agave producers exists and mention that jima is the main tourist activity. In the taverns, a high perspective in the benefit of tourist services exists, but their spaces do not meet the conditions for their insertion in the benefit of tourist services. Credit support does not exist and it has a little experience and qualification, that limits the extension and restoration of the tavern, giving like result, a low insertion to this activity.
