| dc.description.abstract | Con el propósito de utilizar ingredientes de buena calidad nutritiva que permitan balancear dietas más económicas, se evaluaron dos aceites acidulados de soya, como fuente de energía; para lo cual se realizaron 2 experimentos, en el primero se determinó la energía metabolizable de aceite crudo de soya (ACS), aceite acidulado de soya T (AAT) y aceite acidulado de soya Y (AAY), en el segundo experimento se utilizaron 280 pollas Bovans White de 1 día de edad, las cuales se distribuyeron en seis tratamientos, con cinco repeticiones, con ocho pollas cada una. El aceite crudo de soya y los acetites acidulados de soya se incluyeron en dos niveles: 2 % y 4 %. Se evaluaron las variables: peso de las pollas (PP), consumo de alimento (CON), conversión alimenticia (CONV). Para la EM no se encontraron diferencias (p>0.05) en el ACS, AAT y AAY (8337 Kcal/kg, 8296 Kcal/kg, 8528 Kcal/kg) respectivamente. Para las variables evaluadas PP, CON y CONV no hubo diferencias entre tratamientos (p>0.05). Se concluye que el uso de acidulados, como fuente de EM, son una alternativa en la formulación de dietas para pollas, disminuyendo los costos de producción en las etapas de iniciación, crecimiento y desarrollo. _______________ EVALUATION OF TWO SOYBEAN SOAPSTOCKS AND ESTIMATION OF THEIR METABOLIZABLE ENERGY IN 0 TO 18-WEEK-OLD BOVANS PULLETS. ABSTRACT: In order to use ingredients of a good nutritious quality that will allow balancing more economic diets, two soapstocks were evaluated as a source of energy. To do this, two experiments were carried out: in the first one, the metabolizable energy (ME) in soybean oil (ACS), soapstock T (AAT), and soapstock Y (AAY) was evaluated; in the second experiment, 280 1-day-old Bovans White pullets were distributed among six treatments, with five repetitions, with eight pullets each one. Soybean oil and soapstocks were included at two levels: 2 % and 4 %. The following variables were evaluated: weight of the chicks (PP), feed intake (CON), and feed conversion (CONV). No differences were found (p>0.05) for ME with regard to ACS, AAT, and AAY (8337 Kcal/kg, 8296 Kcal/kg, 8528 Kcal/kg, respectively). There were no differences (p>0.05) among treatments with regard to the evaluated variables: PP, CON, and CONV. The conclusion is that the use of soapstocks as a source of ME is a viable alternative in the formulation of diets for pullets, thus reducing production costs in the initiation, growth, and development stages. | es |
