Contribución socioeconómica, tecnológica y agroecológica de la agricultura familiar en el municipio de Juan C Bonilla, Puebla.

Abstract

La agricultura familiar de San Gabriel Ometoxtla, Municipio de Juan C. Bonilla, Puebla, se enfrenta a diversos factores que limitan su desarrollo; sin embargo, pese a ello, ahí está presente. Ante tales circunstancias, se planteó como problema de investigación identificar qué factores están incidiendo en la agricultura familiar que la hacen sostenible, perdurable, con arraigo e identidad a la tierra y otros recursos naturales, haciendo de esta una estrategia de vida, e identificar su contribución socioeconómica, tecnológica y agroecológica; sus aportes, sus desafíos y oportunidades en el abasto local de alimentos para el autoconsumo y proveedora de ingresos para satisfactores. Se trabajó con una muestra de 35 productores rurales con trabajo de campo basado en un cuestionario de 92 reactivos. La familia es el motor de funcionamiento de este sistema productivo, el fundamento de la Unidad de Producción Familiar (UPF) es el recurso humano, la tierra y la parcela. El abasto alimentario es la mayor contribución de la agricultura familiar en San Gabriel Ometoxtla, sus prácticas agroecológicas la hacen sostenible, el valor y uso del conocimiento agrícola tradicional, es una fortaleza sociocultural ancestral que prevalece en el tiempo. La agricultura familiar es un reservorio filogenético complejo que lo hace sostenible como un sistema basado en la pluriactividad y la diversificación de la UPF. Sus aportes tecnológicos se describen como los más sencillos: la fuerza de trabajo humana, el uso de animales de tiro y carga, y el uso de insumos mayormente locales. Its technological contributions are described as the simplest: the human labor force, the use of draft tuw animals, and the use of mostly local inputs. The family agriculture of San Gabriel Ometoxtla, is based on the knowledge, skills of producers, their link with land and the natural resources, and the food security.
