Organización campesina para la producción de tejocote, caso: Sociedad de Producción Rural Agroproductores SPR Ixta-Popo en la comunidad de San Andrés Calpan, Puebla.

Abstract

Los productores rurales conforman organizaciones con el propósito de mejorar sus condiciones económicas y sociales, mediante la puesta en marcha de proyectos que les representen beneficios que de manera individual resulta más complicado conseguir. Estas organizaciones se enfrentan a retos y dificultades que en muchos casos limitan su actuación y por tanto las posibilidades de lograr sus objetivos. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el funcionamiento de una organización, conocer su problemática e identificar los elementos donde se puede incidir para mejorar su desempeño. Lo anterior a través del estudio de caso de la Sociedad de Producción Rural (SPR) “AGROPRODUCTORES DEL IXTA-POPO” en el municipio de Calpan, Puebla, dedicada a la producción y comercialización de tejocote. La metodología seguida para la realización de este trabajo fue a través de recorridos de campo, entrevistas a informantes clave y la aplicación de un cuestionario a los integrantes de dicha organización. Entre los resultados más sobresalientes se encontró que el principal reto al que se enfrenta la organización, es el grado de desintegración del grupo, debido a una falta de objetivos comunes y desinterés de los socios. Aun cuando han logrado realizar actividades conjuntas, gran parte de los productores se sienten decepcionados por la falta de resultados visibles. Lo anterior implica la necesidad de un replanteamiento por parte de los integrantes sobre la pertinencia de continuar como organización y la reestructuración interna del grupo. _______________ FARMER ORGANIZATION FOR THE PRODUCTIONS OF TEJOCOTE, CASE: SOCIEDAD DE PRODUCCIÓN RURAL “AGROPRODUCTORES SPR IXTA-POPO” IN SAN ANDRÉS CALPAN, PUEBLA. ABSTRACT: The rural producers to conform organizations to the purpose to improve their economic and social situations, through productive projects. These organizations confront challengers and difficulties and many cases they limited their performance and therefore the possibilities to achieve their objectives. This work has the objective to analyze the functions of one organization to know the problematic and identify the elements that affect to improve their performance. The previous through of the case study of the “Sociedad de Producción Rural (SPR) “AGROPRODUCTORES DEL IXTA-POPO” in the community of Calpan, Puebla, dedicated to the production and commercialization of tejocote (Mexican hawthorne). The methodology follow to the realization of this work was through the field trips, interview to key informants and the application of an exam to the members of the organization. Between the outstanding results it was found the main challenge that confront the organization it’s the grade of disintegration of the group, due a lack of common objectives and disinterested of the partners. Even they have realized joint activities, big part of the producers feel disappointed by the lack of visual results. The previous implicated the need of rethinking by the part of members about the relevance to continue as an organization and the restructuring inside the group.
