La alfarería en San Felipe Cuapexco y sus elementos potenciales para generar valor agregado

Abstract

Esta investigación aplico elementos de la investigación acción participativa en combinación con métodos de la investigación cuantitativa, para conocer el quehacer alfarero, identificar su problemática y emprender acciones de mejora en la actividad productiva de alfarería (comales rústicos), en San Felipe Cuapexco Puebla. Con el consenso entre participantes se llevo a cabo un proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en diversas sesiones para apropiarse de técnicas de pegado de cromo al polióleo y pintura a mano en acrílico sobre comales rústicos y así cambiar la utilidad de forma de su producto y generar valor agregado. Durante este proceso se fortaleció la capacidad de trabajo grupal, la comunicación y ayuda entre los participantes. Se observó que los artesanos que producen todo el año y tienen mayor capacidad productiva fueron los más participativos. Se detecto que una alternativa para generar valor a los comales es a través de la pintura y decoración, para diversificar su uso hacia artículos decorativos-artesanales, pudiéndose pagar por ellos hasta cuatro veces más que su precio como comal rústico de uso en la preparación de alimentos. También se observó en el análisis de preferencias de consumidores que el consumidor tiene mayor interés por los comales de paisajes pintados a mano y el precio que puede pagar es cuatro veces superior al pagado por intermediarios. Todo esto provocó incentivos para mejorar la calidad de los trabajos de pintura y apropiarse de esta forma de añadir características a los comales rústicos porque los alfareros consideran que es una opción para mejorar el ingreso y adecuada a su modo de vida. _______________ THE POTTERY IN SAN FELIPE CUAPEXCO AND ITS POTENTIAL ELEMENTS TO GENERATE ADDED VALUE. ABSTRACT: This research applied investigation elements of participative action in combination with quantitative research methods in order to know the potter task, to identify their problematic and to take improvement actions in the productive activities of pottery (rustic comales), in San Felipe Cuapexco Puebla. With the consensus among participants a teaching-learning process was carried out in different sessions to obtain stickers pasting techniques in polyoleo and acrylic hand painting on rustic comales, and thus change their utility and added value to their product. During this process the team working capacity, the communication and collaboration among the participants was strengthened. It was observed that the craftsmen who produce all year long and who have the largest production capacity were the most participative ones. It was detected that an alternative to generate more value to the comales is through out painting and decoration, with the purpose of diversifying their use towards decorative and pottery artifacts so they can increase their price up to four times instead of being seen as normal comales used in food preparation. It was also observed in the analysis of consumer preferences that consumers have greater interest in the griddles of hand-painted landscapes and the price you can afford is four times higher than that paid by intermediaries. All this led to incentives to improve the quality of the paint work and the appropriate way to add features to the rustic pottery griddles because it is considered an option to improve income and suitable to their lifestyle.
