| dc.description.abstract | Durante el ciclo agrícola primavera-verano 2008, se establecieron en el Campo Experimental Cotaxtla, Veracruz, México, dos ensayos, 1) evaluación y selección de líneas con base en su comportamiento per se y 2) evaluación y selección de cruzas dialélicas, con base en su aptitud combinatoria general (ACG), aptitud combinatoria específica (ACE) y heterosis. El diseño fue un alfa látice 4x8 y 16x8 con dos repeticiones. Los resultados muestran un grupo de líneas con alta calidad de proteína, con buen comportamiento per se, como: (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-959 (VS-536), (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-960 (VS-536), (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-952 (VS-536-) y (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-953 (VS-536), similares a las líneas de referencia LT-155-289 y LT-157-291 de grano normal. En la evaluación y selección de cruzas dialélicas, los resultados indican que existen líneas con buena ACG como: LRB-14RC2-1-1, LT-154RC2-1-2, LT-155RC2-1-1, VS-536RC2-1-1, VS-536RC2-1-1, CML-264Q y CML-159. Las cruzas LT155RC2-1-1xVS536RC2-1-1, CABGRC2-1-3xD-539RC2-1-1 y D-539RC2-1-1xCML-159 mostraron los mayores efectos de ACE. El mayor grado de heterosis con relación al promedio de los progenitores se obtuvo con la cruza (LT-155xCML-144) F2xLT-155RC2-1-2xFAM. V-537C-1-2 (4x16) con 350.2 % y un rendimiento de 4.6 t ha-1. El grupo de líneas que forman al sintético-1 y sintético-5 superaron un 55 y 49 % con mas lisina y 106 y 73 % mas triptófano en relación al testigo normal, indicando que las líneas evaluadas tienen alta calidad de proteína. _______________ DIALLEL ANALYSIS FOR YIELD IN MAIZE LINES WITH HIGH QUALITY PROTEIN. ABSTRAC: During the crop season Spring-Summer 2008, two trial were carried out in the Experimental field of Cotaxtla, Veracruz, México, 1) evaluation and selection of lines based on their yield performance per se and 2) evaluation and selection of dialelic crosses, based on their general combining ability (ACG) and specific combining ability (ACE). An experimental alpha design with a 4x8 and 16x8 lattice arrangement with two replications was used. The results show a group of lines with high quality of protein with good performance per se as (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-959 (VS-536), (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-960 (VS-536), (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-952 (VS-536-) y (VS-536xV-537C)VS-536RC2-1-1-953 (VS-536), similar to the reference lines with normal grain LT-155-289 y LT-157-291. In relation with the evaluation and selection of dialelic crosses, the results indicate that there were lines with good ACG as: LRB-14RC2-1-1, LT-154RC2-1-2, LT-155RC2-1-1, VS-536RC2-1-1, VS-536RC2-1-1, CML-264Q y CML-159. On the other hand, the combination LT155RC2-1-1xVS536RC2-1-1, CABGRC2-1-3xD-539RC2-1-1 y D-539RC2-1-1xCML-159 showed greater effects of ACE. The greatest degree of heterosis in relation to the medium parent was obtained with the cross (LT-155xCML-144) F2xLT-155RC2-1-2xFAM.V-537C-1-2 (4x16) with 350.2 % and a yield of 4.6 t ha-1. The group of lines forming the synthetic-1 and synthetic-5 showed an increasing of 55 and 49 % more lysine and 106 and 73 % more tryptophan compared with the control, indicating that the evaluated lines have high-quality protein. | es |
